Congrats Lafayette, it is a well deserved recognition of what we've known for many years.

Downtown on St. John St halfway b/w the cathedral and university. I pick up a pack of frozen pulled pork and boudin everytime I'm in town. A+ review on boudinlink.com They have alot of good stuff but one of these with a boudin link is money:
Johnson's Boucaniere

CP3LSU - Lafayette has so much better food and restaurants.

Don's is awful. The only good thing I've ever had at any Don's is the jacked up shrimp and oysters. And last time I went (last Thursday) they were out of shrimp. The jacked up oysters were really good though... But we got the last order.
Étouffée, gumbo, crawfish bisque, fish specials, zydeco shrimp were all terrible. Anything over rice was inedible. I literally spit it out.
Don't tell me Dons is good. It's not. Their best asset is location.
