I will probably still get lost. Are there gas stations to stop and ask at if I do?

There should be plenty of places to stop if you are going the right way. I don't know about the wrong way though.

If you feel like you are lost, just follow someone that is pulling a boat.

On 10E, take hwy 61 to 3213, which crosses river and dead ends at 3127. Take a left and that will take you all the way to 310.

It saves you 5-10 min and you stay off the interstate and can avoid a lot of time if there are any wrecks on the bridges.

I started going that way also, crossing veterans memorial bridge. Was trying to give the simplest directions possible though.

Last weekend I paid my toll at geauxpass.com on my iPhone without stopping. I was in a hurry and it was awesome. Prob not the safest method, but there is absolutely no reason to stop at that stupid arse kiosk center.

Boutte is quicker than Sunshine. Veterans Memorial is quicker than Boutte.

No need to stop and pay, you can do so online before or with 96 hours of passing. Geauxpass.com I believe.

Great, thanks to all who mentioned this, I dont go often. But nice to know that you dont have to feel like you need to backtrack.

From Mathews (exit 215 A and 215 B) is it really quicker to travel on 308 as opposed to LA 1 until you get to LA 3225??

Or have a line out of the door thanks to computer illiterate cajuns/coonasses trying to get to Fourchon or the island.

I'd usually get annoyed and just go through without paying, don't think I ever got anything in the mail.

I made it! I didn't see any cops. The water is about like gulf shores, and I can't wait to start fishing.
Eta. And who are the rich people in cutoff in those huge houses?

You'd be surprised the money they have down in those parts. Galliano, Golden Meadow, Cutoff has some pretty well off residents. Most notable are the Chouest's...two massive houses right off of Hwy 308.
