Not sure how Kyle Field is ahead of Tiger Stadium by any criteria,
But we are the first and only "Death Valley" mentioned

And 2nd among college football venues, ahead of:

Texas 34 (WTF?)
Florida 37
Oregon 43
ND 46
Michigan 58
Penn St 59
LA Coliseum 60
Ohio State 65
Rose Bowl 68
Va.Tech 69

And the ONLY college baseball venue mentioned, probably to the chagrin of Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Arkansas baseball fans

What is the official name of the new Rosenblatt stadium? I think it was "TD" something. Is it on the list?

cant believe "the grove" did not make it...lol....guess not winning an sec title since 1963 hurts it...

"The Grove" is not a sports venue, it's an area for all the Black Bear fans to congregate, tailgate and dream/wax nostolgic about 1963.

+1000

Hasn't the superdome crowned the most CFB national champions, either first or second most NFL championships, not to mention numerous other huge events such as final fours and fights. Any list without it rated near the top of sports venues isn't much of a list.

ETA: was thinking Sugarbowl in general for CFB didn't think about early days of Tulane Stadium, but the dome is the Sugarbowl and is still up there by itself, and it incorporated a lot of firsts in design and is still the largest fixed roof Stadium anywhere.

Indoor stadiums suck when it comes to hosting football and baseball games.

If you reduce it to American stadiums alone it is top 10.

where the frick is the Superdome? Seriously? Some of the greatest sporting events have been held there. NCAA Final Fours, Sugar Bowls, Super Bowls, BCSCCG, great boxing fights. Terrible that it could be left off.

I have been to four of the top ten. Tiger Stadium outshines them all.

A lot of people dont care about the soccer stadiums, but I do follow soccer, and to be ranked up there with Barcelona and AC Milan is REALLY a compliment to LSU and their fans. I cant believe that Old Trafford (Manchester United) didnt make the list!!
