I know how it ends, but Russell went absolutely beast mode against this Iowa D.

Probably the most forgotten thing in his career.

Yeah. Pretty sure Randall started. Flynn also played. It was a weird game.

Just watched the throw that cost LSU the game, looked like the WR shoves the CB coming up to break up the pass/tackle the other WR. Suprised nothing was called.

What a shitty ending for you LSU fans.

Flynn was the first off the bench. He barely played but handed the ball to Broussard for his long TD run before the half.

Saban's last game before going to the Dolphins

what a horrible way for a man that built his rep on defense to go out at LSU

alley's performance vs. Ole Miss that year will be in the record books for a long time. it's a shame how his career ended up considering he was probably the most talented back at LSU through the 2000s.

Eh...shouldn't have happened anyway. No way that guy should've scores the way he did....Saban's D broke down on that play.

Now that I think about it, this is my answer to the most painful LSU loss thread. That game sucked, come all the way back only to lose on a miracle, coach leaves, season over...ugh...gut punch. In hind sight, it's way worset than Arky '07 for me.

In the grand scheme of things, it wasn't that big of a deal, but it did cost us another 10-win season and probably a top 10 final ranking. Didn't seem to hurt too much though as the next 3 years we finished 5, 3, and 1 respectively.

But it might have been nice to have 5 straight 10 win and top 10 seasons.
