How did yall do?

I went to Grand Isle and tore them up on Friday 65 specks/Saturday - 60 specks in the morning/51 in the evening, and came back to earth today with 15 nice fish.

All in a pretty good weekend.

Caught 25 nice trout in Pelto and beaches on islands. Would have got more, but was fishing with the girlfriend, baiting hooks and taking off fish. Slowed me down...

Also, the weatherman severely screwed up Saturday's forecast. It was rougher that I wanted it to be for her.

Thinking about leaving the spoon in there, its kinda rusty, gives it an antique look

ETA: did I mention I am a giant and have hands bigger than Shaq? That is actually a nice 26-3/4" red

No

We're putting up siding on our camp so I was doing that all weekend. On the calmest weekend of the year! I turned down 2 trips

Lake Verrett Saturday. Slow fishing, water looked like shite everywhere. No one was catching. We managed to pull a few in, but it was tough fishing.

Boat.......did best in the interior bays, Caminada and Barataria. Tried outside along the beaches and didn't find anything but small specks and white trout. It was incredible, the shrimp were absolutely everywhere. Friday and Saturday evenings we hit some birds on the way in and stayed on them until it was completely dark.

Saline. 5 or6 bass all 13" or under. Looks to be an oxygen issue coming. When you hear about the bite, you're too late.

Took the yal out yesterday and caught 13 bass.

Here are the only two I got pics of because my phone over heated.

This one was stout. One of the bigger ones I've caught. He's turned so you can see his girth. Big momma

went about 25 miles off (100-130' of water), the reds weren't hittin hard for anyone we knew. Only 4 of us in the boat and decided at about 11 am to go closer inshore and get a limit of mangrove

Offshore Thursday and Friday from Fourchon. We got a 60 lb wahoo, big red snapper and lots of mangroves. One big AJ but had to turn him back. Couldn't get the tuna to bite.

I had no idea this could happen until a coworker left his phone in his truck all morning last week and gave him a temperature warning and wouldn't turn on.

BTW Bourgs where's that at?

I wasn't aware of the temp deal either. I had it in a clear dry box sitting in the sun for several hours.

Lake in the back of Riverbend. Got in a serious altercation with the land developer. Long story short, I'm not going back. Now I wish I would have kept all the bass.

Thursday and friday we fished Cocodrie inside - caught 25 trout one day and 28 the next. Had kids and wife/mom along so it slowed us down some. Trout bite was a little slow. offshore on sat - limits of Red snapper and Cobia. 2 black Fins and a bunch of mangrove. great trip.
