Guys who historically play well at the Open usually play well there even if they haven't been lighting it up coming into it. It's such a different type of golf than the usual flag-hunting tourneys that dominate most of the tour. So you can't rule out the Retiefs, Furyks, Els, etc...I have a feeling that Phil might do well this week. But it will most likely be a Euro or South African holding the trophy Sunday evening.

Donald - he's been in the top 10 of pretty much every tournament he's played for the last 6-8 weeks
Westwood - maybe the current BPTNHWAM (along with Donald). He's been pretty consistent the past year.
Goosen - seems to show up for the US Open somewhat consistently and is playing well right now
Mickelson - wants to win the US Open more than any other tournament.
Stricker - really hesitant about this one because he disappears in majors, but I'm going with it anyway. He's playing really well right now.

Interesting pick...It would be awesome to see him win with Steve Williams on the bag. Would there be a caddy controversy?

One of the reasons I went with him. It's just a matter of Stevie having enough time to learn Adam's game and range.

There wouldn't be a controversy, just a lot of idiots speculating.

Scott has been playing well and I just feel that he'll be in the mix after 54 holes come Sunday.

Anthony Kim is my outside shot, he's played well at Congressional in the past. His game seems suited for that course.

I may have a chance at free tickets for Sunday...let's hope that comes through.

Will not get even CLOSE to a victory until he shaves his head. He looks dumb with hair and it throws off his game.
