Clubs We All Hate Ep. 2: S. S. Lazio

In this second edition of CWAH, our attention turns to the Mexico of Europe: Italy. In this country filled with good food, beautiful architecture, the Pope, pretty women, Guido Judas, and a bunch of diving bastards, no club has earned the ire of the civilised world quite like our next team, S. S. Lazio.
Reason You Should Hate Them:
They're God Damn Nazis
The fans hate blacks, even those on their own team.
What does this look like?:
The old Lazio logo:
Here's Lazio star Mauro Zarate:
Here's Paulo Di Canio:
Here's some fans:
The club is known throughout the world by the moniker 'Nazio.' And the worst thing about it: The club's administration doesn't care. Unlike Glasgow Rangers and Real Madrid who have tried to rein in the antics of their fans/players over the years (btw, the ultras of both teams have close ties with Lazio's), Lazio's owners, managers, and players don't give a frick about being Nazis.
And that's why they're a club we all hate.

You know i allways was thinking i liked Lazio more than Roma, but then I realized the error of my ways. How dumb I was...

Good piece, you need to put more hate into it though.

More like a mixture of cigarettes, cologne, and a false sense of entitlement.

You gotta respect how much they hate Roma though.
With like two games left in 2010 during a Lazio/Inter game the home Lazio fans were actively cheering for Inter because it meant Roma wouldn't win the title. Mind you this is while Lazio was in the middle of a relegation battle.

I've always been a casual fan of Roma, but Lazio are just below my hatred for Mexico and United. Hell they might even be on par. Those motherfrickers are the worst people in the entire world in my opinion (obviously excluding the above mentioned).

Alessandra wonders why she hasn't been including in the Naziale parade though she's always happy when Lazio signs Germans...
Adding to the comment on Lazio fans cheering for Inter to beat Lazio just to keep Roma from winning the scudetto, there's also a lot of people who think Nazio players laid down for the cause too.
Concerning AS Roma and Lazio Ultras... if by worse one means that AS Roma has more violent hooligan Ultras then I'd agree.
AS Roma has much more of an old Roma, working class fan base and the traditional Ultras which are political are far left leaning. Most Ultras though aren't that political and just want to fight like idiots.
AS Roma has quite a handful of Ultras groups, many of which are large and organized. . . Maybe comparable to say Liverpool, Man U or West Ham in the EPL? which is why matches between these clubs always have a lot of extracurricular activity.
A very large portion of Lazio's fan base in Roma are politically far far right, mainly from Prati and areas on the northern side of Roma. The largest part of the Lazio fan base though is in the periphery of Roma, kind of like they'd culturally be the team for Jersey in the NY area. I would say a sizable portion of the latter are hardly educated enough to understand the difference between concepts like fascism and socialism. I'd give Zarate and his fascist salute an honorable mention in this category.

You know, I've been searching for a top-flight European team to cheer for, and was seriously considering Lazio, simply because I've become a big fan of Klose through the World Cup & FIFA (Bayern Munich tears shite up) and I like their kit.
Maybe I should reconsider?
FWIW, better to be right wing than left wing.

Eh, I don't like Lazio, but there are racist fans of clubs all over Europe and like wm said, you're giving their ultras way too much credit for even understanding what they are doing most of the time. Kind of like those Liverpool fans who burned American flags at Anfield last summer.
Oh and the eagle was the symbol of the Roman Empire and that's why it's on the logo, no other reason.

So you believe Zarate when he says that he'd never heard of Hitler?
