Ernie "The Big Cat" Ladd
"The Cajun Cannon" Bobby Hebert
"Louisiana Lightning" Ron Guidry
Evander "The Real Deal" Holyfield
Not a fan of nicknames but those are okay. I can't stand the ones that are abbreviated combinations of first & last names like T-Mac, D-Wade, A-Rod, etc... But nothing sounds as ****y as someone referring to Lebron James as "Bron Bron".

Frank "Home Run" Baker. He led the American League in home runs from 1911-1914 with 11, 10, and 12, and 9 home runs, respectively.
Six years later, Ruth led the American league with 54 home runs, which only tied the third highest single season home run total of his career. Just to put "Home Run" Baker's namesake in perspective.
