Comedy sequels better than originals....

All this talk about HO1 being significantly better than HO2 got me thinking..... Which comedy sequels are better than the originals. Or not just comedy any genre for that matter..
I got:
Bad Boys 2 over BB1
Be Cool over Get Shorty
Rocky 4 over the original

I really can't think of one.... maybe Christmas Vacation, but thats the only thing I can come up with. All the Naked Gun films were about equal as well.

Ummm, no. I mean I liked Neil Patrick Harris and Rob Cordry in it, but this one just went too far off the deep end.

White Castle just got stale for me after a while. Yeah, Guantanamo Bay was kind of silly but it's a comedy, that doesn't bother me.

surprised no one has mentioned When Nature Calls. there's lots of love for that movie on here being better than Ace Ventura 1. i don't agree.

Call me crazy but I think Next Friday can go toe to toe with Friday. I think Epps is hilarious in that one (and the 3rd one also). Not saying Chris Tucker doesn't play that part perfect, but Epps has some classic one liners as well.

Me neither. In the first movie Ace is believable while still being extremely goofy, in the sequel he is just way too over the top imo.
