Only thing is 2nd place in the 13th best conference trumps 9th in the best conference on EVERY other stat.

No excuse if you line em up next to each other, but this is an example of how the NCAA is trying to expand the sport, a la the Storrs regional in the past.

St. John's isn't the team that kepted LSU out of the tournament. New Mexico (20-39) won the Mt. West Tournament and UALR (24-32) won the Sun Belt Tournament knocked LSU out. LSU has nobody to blame but theirselves!

Go listen to the NCAA chairman during the Seton Hall vs St Johns game yesterday. He said right now its about expanding the popularity of the game. St. John's is a school in New York where the game isn't all that popular. This is the only excuse as to why St. Johns got in over LSU.
