We got a flashy new OC who will throw it on every down and return all of our true receivers. Be prepared for us to throw for 400 against you. And that's not smack talk, just the reality.

Reality is WVU has the honor of being Miles 31st OOC victim, moving his record 31-1.

Here is your reality..

You were a punt return away from a great player, perhaps the best player in the country last year from losing to us lowly Big East folks at your place, at night in Death Valley.

This year your coming to the Mountains and your going to face what we hope is the nation's best offense led by the one of the top QB's in the country and by seasons end one of the nation's most explosive players Tavon Austin.

Keep thinking your running us out. lol go ahead... keep talking. lol your in for a shock. And this my good friends is a fact.

You had 119 passing yards last year.

You had 177 yards TOTAL last year, throwing for 119. Now you think you're going to throw for over 400 this year? Do you realize how dumb that sounds or are you too busy picking imaginary bugs off your face?

There's always an excuse for why the Mountain Mama's didn't win the big game..

Your most explosive player had 3 catches for 33 yards last year.

Do I think the WV can beat LSU yes they can. Do I think WVU can beat LSU if they throw 60 times. No they can't. It is not a knock on WVU, but what coach in their right mind would want to go against our d backs for an entire game especially when our LB's and D-line lost their best players. I know PP7 was the best player on the field, but we had some solid players besides him in the secondary. I would give it a steady dose of running and try to wear down LSU's undersized D-Line -the freak.

His profile says he played in 3 games, but included 2 SEC games in there, and I thought you couldn't red shirt if you played in a conference game or after a certain point in the season.
pretty sure they changed the rule to where if you play one play in the season, that you lose your redshirt. the previous rule allowed you the first 3 games of the season

By the way ask the Tannerhill who had gone over 125 consective passes how good LSU's secondary was. One note everyone of the players highlighted will be back on Defense minus shepard. LINK

I wouldn't focus on trying to beat the LSU secondary. Nobody in the country matches up favorably against us there.

The best thing WVU can hope for is if LSU almost beats themselves on offense...again. JJ had one of his worst games against WVU last year and still won. If the offense struggles again this year, WVU has a shot. Otherwise, it'll be a long night for WVU.

And yes, since LSU's secondary is being rated as the best in the country by many writers, I would say they're pretty solid.

Not sure which game you watched, young man, but the one I saw was lopsided in every way but the scoreboard. WVU never had a prayer in that game.

I'm guessing this year's game will be very similar to LSU's Cotton Bowl win over ATM - you'll lead early, hang around for one half, then implode in the 3rd quarter with LSU pulling away.

Nah I disagree. I think on Nickel sets TM slides back inside and Simon comes in on the outside.
