Why not? I'd take the son of Ryan Perriloux if he could play ball and wanted to do it at LSU. Why hold a father's actions against the kid? Just seems petty, IMO.

saw him play in the city championship between Dunham and U-High 7th & 8th grade. He has deceptive speed, he's young and still gets rattled easy, he's going to mature well with Guy Mistretta from Redemptorist at Dunham now.

Louis Earl's kid signed with Tulane, but didn't get an LSU offer.

Damn I'm getting old.

I played high school basketball at Walker from 94-97. At that time Walker was in the same district as Glen Oaks. I remember Lester, and Corey Powell.

They were just too tall for us.

You don't usually sound this stupid. I'm guessing you'd take the Submit hit back at this point.

The guy just said that the kid didn't even know Lester Earl was his father until recently, and is not a factor in his life at this point. So, I just can't see where you're coming from at all.

Well Lester is always saying he wants to move back to LA, and make things right

well, he needs to make things right. and sending his kid here is not necessarily the way to do it. the kid should not pay for the sins of the father.

I really wonder if Bernhard is bordering with making these kids ineligible. Flying them all over, including to North Carolina where he brings in former NBA players to work with them...

Then all AAU kids would be ineligible. They all have sponsors. Brandon Bass even sponsors a team.

not sure about the aau money pushing the limits, but paying a kids tuition for school is certainly not the norm.

If he gets rattled easily Mistretta probably isn't a good fit for him
