I guess I don't know Coach Mistretta that well, I've been to several coaching clinics he has given and witnessed many games he's coached. I was thinking he's detail oriented and has some fundamentally sound teams. I liked the guy as a coach and thought he'd be able to give the kid some good instruction.

I watched several of his games at Dunham last fall. It was hysterical to watch him compete in that classification. The kid honestly looks like Michael Clayton did as a freshman at LSU. At one point in the parkview game he had 3 touches for 240 yards and three touchdowns. He took it to the house from his own 20 the first three times he touched it. Just completely, completely dominant.

If you see an awesome athlete at a private school, there is a very good chance he/she is having their tuition paid by someone.
Most private schools don't give official scholarships, so boosters and other parents pick up the tab.

Glen Oaks had a stacked varsity team 94-95 with Earl and Powell. They had a 15 year old on the freshman team that was 6'-5" that year too.

His name is Drake Davis. He lives with another family. I don't think Lester Earl or his mother has anything to do with him.
