Any word on candidates for the softball job?

They will probably go after an established head coach. That seems to be Alleva's hiring preference.

Not a whole lot Alleva could do with timing of announcement. Let the season play out and once interested coaches' seasons are over he can start zeroing in on a candidate. There's plenty of time to get it done - not an urgent rush like the big sports.
Not opposed to an assistant because I think Bama's assistant is ready and capable. If you could steal ULL's again that would be good too.

alleva get off your arse and start doing actual WORK. this is so far below that mans pay grade, they should draw from a hat. anymore minute wasted ON this non revenue generating farce is a waste of the athletic departments time and money!!!

Hey Death Valley, do you belong to TAF or graduated from LSU? I know the answer, I did and belong to both, so STFU. If your high school diploma shows that you can do a better job than our current AD, then please submit your credentials, so the Board and TAF, can evaluate it. When you wannabees LSU graduates, speak, it's when a certain sports program, is losing. Otherwise, you kiss the AD's arse when LSU is winning in any sport.
