That included the 8-8 in the SEC timeframe as well though. I see nothing wrong with the article. What he's saying is true. He didn't say the football team was on the decline. He said it had a lull and looks to be trending up. Every other sport at LSU has vastly declined though, which is true.

monumental decline Anyone claiming the last 4 years are in a monumental decline has missed a whole lot of LSU seasons.

Decline from the recent past.

The only thing really "monumental" in LSU's recent past is 2 FB Nattys in a decade, imo.

It's our fricking soccer team bringing us down, because of the war, we can't get the foreigners to commit!

I have a question for the Rantards...did Texas and USC have a down year in football? Did Notre Dame have a down decade in football? Did Florida have a down year? Has Florida St. been down for decades? I say count your blessings, true blue Tiger fans!!!! All programs have ups and downs...but LSU has the most solid football program in it's history...and will have for years!!! We have an excellent track team and baseball will be back next year. The basketball team will take time but I expect it to be better next year! G..D...! Be happy, if you can! If not, go die somewhere and leave the oxygen for the rest of us to breathe!

Mens final four, womens final fours, baseball national titles. Or do you only follow LSU football? Bandwagonner.

I would give the football team a solid B or B+. Mens bball a F or lower if possible. Women's bball a C+ and baseball a B- going into next year!

I actually twittered back and forth with GG a few weeks ago about TigerDroppings.

He says he loves the site but thinks he should be getting paid by it.

For real.

Good point. No other SEC market has antagonistic, pushy sports writers with high expectations.

Nothing monumental about those, since previously achieved.
Women's BB 5 back to back Final4s was good, but the '77 girls made the semi.
Skip's 5 NCs in a decade, 2 back to back, is monumental, not a single title in recent past.

mediocre performances at times almost cost us the NC, UF and tenn games. 11-2 was great considering a bunch of our performances. get the performance problem fixed and we will be fine. it is up to coaching.
