We lose today to Alabama and then the rest of the season we win a few more games, but we miss making the SEC Tournament by a game or two. Would we still make a regional as a 3 or 4 seed with a fairly strong RPI and decent overall record?

probably imo, i see us being a three seed, as long as we can finish in 9th in the sec

Need to Wobblies than just a few.

Maybe but we will only be there 2 games so hopefully just just don't make it at all.

Pretty sure Florida did as well.

Edit: But I don't know if we would make it or not. I would guess probably not.

Does it really matter at that point with this team?

This.

Personally, I think I'd just as soon have it all over with rather than being sent off to BFE just to go two-and-out.

This year kind of reminds me of the results from Texas' football season and missing a bowl. AT this point, the team may be better served in the long run to miss out and experience that kind of failure in order to get stronger instead of doing what they did and still getting rewarded. IDK, I have no control of any of it and will be cheering for the Tigers to sweep the next two series regardless.

MSU did it in 2006. In 2005, MSU won the SEC tournament after barely making it in.

Don't worry we are about to win 20 straight and go to Omaha

Why? What makes you think that things will get better?

We can still make it, not great chances, but we can. I still want them to make it, but with their troubles on the road, winning in a regional will be next to impossible. But, I mostly want it because it'll be good experience for Gausman, Jones,Eades, and McCune

I doubt it. 9 teams from the SEC is a real rarity.

It really doesn't matter man. Aside from getting playoff experience and such it really will just be salt on the wound. Team is DONE

I remember us making the SEC Tournament one year but was left out of a regional. I believe that same year Miss. State got invited to a regional after not making it to the SEC tournament.
