Pats don't use a #1 back. Belichick swaps up weekly it seems. That being said, there's a good chance Ridley will be their GL back/TD Vulture.

i guess now that BJGE is coming off a 1000 yard season and is a free agent he will want more $ than the pats feel he is worth. if he is gone then it could be a vereen/ridley/woodhead led running back group. if that's the case ridley will get a lot of touches on a great team. looks like leaving early is working out well for him.
