Love the pick.

I was hoping for an awesome OT. . .but since no worthy guys were available, Ingram is a great pick.

Hard-nosed runner with adequate shake, and really good power and vision. When you lack a marquee Tackle, just get a guy who runs between them. . .

I am excited as shite about this 1st round!

At first I didn't like the fact that they could've taken him at 24 and not given up 2 picks. When you look at it as essentially giving up a 2nd round pick, Ingram is essentially NOLA's 2012 1st round pick, it's not nearly as bad. I think he'll be a 7-8 year starter in NOLA. Worth every penny if that plays out.

I think we could have gotton just as good a back in latter rounds. Hope he pans out, but I don't see him being anything special.

Just as good is a little much but I feel we could have picked a "good" back in rd 3. This is my only concern.

I don't think any other back in this draft produces more than him in 2011. I see something in him and I was definetely hoping they picked him up. we might not have had a chance in the second round. That is where most of the top RBs will be taken IMO.

I wanted him from the beginning. When he was slated to go 15th to Miami, I wanted to trade up and get him. He's the perfect back for our system, he's a proven winner, he'll add saints fans in Alabama, and he gives us bargaining room with Reggie. This was a slam dunk move IMO. We were 28th in rushing yards last year. Expect that to change.

I was trying to post from my phone after the jordan pick saying I wish we had two picks back to back to because I wanted both... this was close enough.

I'm getting an ingram jersey as soon as available. What number do you think he will pound the rock with?

I love the pick because we gave away a 28 for a pick that will be a 32 and got a great player

I'm in.

This does so much to open up Reggie.

That was my thought before reading his tweets crying that they took Ingram.

Face it Reggie, you're not an every down, between the tackles, NFL RB. Swallow your pride and accept what you are.

Reporting for duty! Jordan was great value at 24 but Ingram is what the team needed. A consistent power running game will do wonders for this offense.

I'm in.

In time I believe this trade will prove out to one of the best moves in Saints history. The first thing I thought when Ingram was picked is we have another Deuce. Not in terms of running style, but in terms of toughness, work ethic, and leadership. I see him on the Saints roster for 8-10 years.
