Baseball Prediction Thread - Auburn v. LSU

As bad as I hate to admit it, I just don't see LSU winning more than one this weekend.
I think we will get good pitching performances all around and lose two games by under 3 runs apiece...
Auburn takes 2 of 3 and the Rant nears explosion Sunday afternoon...

Not really. We're already post-meltdown by this point. Now if LSU loses a weekend series to Kentucky or Tennessee, we truly will see some TD outrage of epic proportions.

We need this series, but we don't have our ace and this pitching staff is inconsistent to say the least.
Our hitting also isn't very clutch.

I guess we'll see, but LSU has every advantage in this series.

what advantage we have no timely hitting runners stranded on base only 6 hits against a lousy alcorn state team

Our best pitcher isn't even making the trip. "Tired arm" is the reason being given. That being said, I will be surprised if Auburn wins one.

I've heard we were going to sweep Georgia.
Heard we were gonna sweep Ole Miss.
Heard we were gonna sweep Arkansas.
Now I hear we're gonna Sweep Auburn.
People told me I was foolish for worrying after the UGA series, and did the math saying if we took 2/3 of our next 4 series after that, how we'd still be playing .500 baseball in conference.
I was wrong.
After 3 of those 4 series, if we sweep both our opponents (including #1 next week, LOL), we'll be 6-8 in the SEC, with 4 SEC series to go.
When is it time to panic? Or should we just lower our expectations and realize that this was a "wait till next year" season?

They don't have their ace and their pitching is terrible. No wonder you hate Mainieri, you know nothing about college baseball

You're right and everyone else is wrong. Let's just wave the white flag and be done with it.

What? People have been panicking on this board, you got your wish? Not everyone has said everything will be fine this year, what else do you want? What good has it done?

It's past time to panic. Look back to last year. As the season wore on the pitching got worse and when it wasn't worse , no hitting. This year is carbon copy except Mcune & G are trying to hang in with no hitting and rest of staff sucks. Biggest problem is Paul :Smoke Lavall" is coaching like he wonders if he is smoke. Time to start looking for a "good" coach.
