2 Broncos MARCELL DAREUS DT Alabama
3 Bills CAM NEWTON QB Auburn
4 Bengals A.J. GREEN WR Georgia
5 Cardinals VON MILLER LB Texas A&M
6 Browns PATRICK PETERSON CB LSU

8 Titans NICK FAIRLEY DT Auburn
9 Cowfags TYRON SMITH OT USC
10 Redskins JULIO JONES WR Alabama
11 Texans ROBERT QUINN DE/LB Norf Carolina
12 Viqueens DAQUAN BOWERS DE Clemson
13 Lions ANTHONY CASTONZO OT Boston College
14 ALDON SMITH DE Missouri
-just to note again, trying to make this a who ya think they will take type mock.
That can be a little different than who YOU think they should take.
On to #15, have at it...
Ingram is widely mocked here but is by no means a given. They obviously want another direction for QB long term. A pile of quality DEs are screaming value as well.
a current rotoworld post-
The Dolphins were reportedly impressed by Arkansas QB Ryan Mallett during a recent trip to Fayetteville and may end up spending more time with him than any other prospect.
Mallett is due to visit Dolphins headquarters Thursday and Friday, which will bring up to speed with TCU's Andy Dalton, who has met privately with Miami twice already. The Dolphins have also spent time with Christian Ponder, Cam Newton, Ricky Stanzi, and Colin Kaepernick. It's worth noting that NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora and beat writer Omar Kelly both consider Miami "highly unlikely" to draft Mallett.

Nice try to make this one difficult. But it's Ingram all the way.

Mike Pouncy
The Tuna will wait until the later rounds to draft a running back. He wants an offensive lineman or qb. I think they try to trade back to pick up Dalton or Ponder, but if they stand pat, they go with Pouncey here.

J.J. Watt
Perfect fit for their 3-4.

Mark Ingram, RB,Alabama.
Need a little youth in the running game. Also if he is off the board now we wont have to hear people chanting for the Saints to pick him later.

Pretty sure he's not in miami anymore.

Depends. Do you believe the DeAngelo Williams stories?
Of course, there was also a time when the Dolphins were going to sign Shockey.

QB Jake Locker
RB's can be had. I don't know if Henne will be able to take that veteran improved step. Locker will be the franchise's insurance.

I liked that pick more than Ingram too. Also, does anyone think that teams will be turned off by Ingram's knee concerns?
quote:
According to NFL Network's Mike Lombardi, teams have growing concerns about the health of Alabama RB Mark Ingram's knee.
The 2009 Heisman winner had a knee scope just prior to the 2010 season. Lombardi suggested that Ingram has an arthritic condition which could cause him to be scratched off some boards.

I know he's not in charge anymore, but isn't he a consultant or something now who helps with personnel moves?

I liked the Pouncey choice but just a little high to me
I just don't think Ingram will grade this high. The whole RB valuation evolution thing... mid 1st has to be a sure fire dominant load carrier. He might end up like Emmitt Smith. The knee issues and the measurables indicate he could also be like Mike Hart, Cedric Benson, Kevin Smith, Ron Dayne, etc- who were all incredible college runners. How much did the great team help his performance? How much were his numbers inflated playing the Dukes & Georgia States? I think he will still be on the board at the Saints pick and they too pass on him.
So who? DE is value but to have your pick of the litter #3 QB makes sense. Their 2nd Rd choice will be getting to the 3rd tier of QBs. Trading up from the 2nd could be too spendy for them. I'd prolly go Mallett but in effort to unify the QB pickers I'll say LOCKER. THRILL, change yours from Kappy.

The Dolphins have shown a lot of interest in Kaepernick, and I think they have to worry about Indy picking him up if they trade down too far. I think Locker goes to Washington or Minny anyway.
