Matt Kuchar although the Big Easy is my sentimental favorite to win.

I want bubba watson to win, but my pick is kuchar... My sentimental is going to be fred couples until he quits... My dark horse pick is ryan moore. That's very dark house but he's proven that when he gets hot he can go way low.

I follow golf closely and I have trouble remembering half the major winners over the past couple of years. So, I think anybody in the field could win this thing. Ought to be a good tournament.

Does anyone know of any changes to the course for 2011?

Phil the obvious.
Tiger, ain't gonna happen.
Look for somebody like Zach J. or David Toms. or maybe a European.

Picked Hunter Mayhan last week, sticking with him.

Nothing has been announced this year other than the complete overhaul of the practice area. They even put tress down the range in locations that allow players to practice drawing/fading the ball around them. Apparently there are also greens the same size as the greens on the course down the range as well.

Before last week I would have said anyone had a chance.

After Houston, I have to go with Phil. I don't like it, but he's got to be the favorite.

My thoughts:

1) I really don't like Tiger
2) I'm pulling for Phil, with a sentimental nod to Freddie Couples
3) Perfect would be for David Toms to beat Tiger in a playoff
4) By the way, I'M GOING TO BE THERE!!!

actually it's the least important driving course in golf, there is no rough, if you have an opening the pine straw is an easy lie for pros, the masters is a putting contest, if you are talking about the US open or British on certain layouts I would agree

I'm speaking in terms of not landing in the straw and pine trees 75% of the time.....
