Coach Miles just keeps on winning and surrounding himself with the best players and coaches he can find. An in addition to all of his football successes he has a sense of humor and never lets anything get to him! LINK

I don't know why it has been so hard for him to win over a majority of the fan base. But it seems they are finally coming around.

Les makes 3.8 million a year and he just got another huge vote of confidence from Alleva. LSU has not won any form of championship/title in 3 years and there seems to be no real sense of urgency for him to win anything. He can just hang out 4-5 years collect a ton of money and not really be expected to win anything. Pretty low stress for 4 mill a year. Win 8 games or more and your golden.

Don't buy that.
You could see the pressure getting to him during some of the press conferences last season. His contract may be signed, sealed, and delivered, but a furious LSU fanbase is enough to send anyone packing for safer waters.

I am down here in South Florida and to this day N. Saban's name comes up in Miami and people throw up. I do not know how many games LSU can win this year in football but I do know LSU can beat ala.

and you will see LES handcuff this team by sticking with jefferson/LEE for another year of offensive ineptitude. he's too hard headed to change and will play his seniors.

I think Les is learning how to be a big time coach. You can see him growing in the job over the years. The most frustrating thing about him is that his teams sometimes lack emotion (like him) and play to their competition.
