You are aware of where PP is projected to be picked and what the implications would be if a rookie salary cap is included in the next CBA......and that PP would be subject to that if he stayed another year at LSU , don't you?

What sucks about this is that the allegation will live on. Fans of every fanbase but LSU will assume it's true but just couldn't be proven. At least for the next few months whenever this issue arises, Peterson will be mentioned in the same breath as Cam and Lache Seastrunk. Hope that Tulane assistant coach is real happy with himself for tarnishing a good kids name out of bitterness towardss his own lot in life.

It's up to us to get the word out there. Like the fact that of last year's final top 25, LSU was one of, if not the least penalized team in the rankings all time.

I dont remember him denying that he ever visited A&M. Most of that article seemed like it was just reaching.

Everything is being taken out of context. I don't see any questions directly asking PP7 have you ever been to a&m.
He never did take an official, and he stated why would he go there when speaking of the allegations of "A&M and 80k"... Thus denying it twice?
Am I missing something because I dont see where Peronni has proved he knew it was Lyles back then. I also don't see where PP7 made the statement Van Malone had no involvement or he never visited a&m?
By all means, if its proved we cheated, then hammer us! But with the way we handled the McCarthy/Hicks situation, I feel pretty good about our compliance office.

unless the ncaa can find a paper trail or some audio tapes they are not taking us down. at least this is the way it should be if you're using the cam newton case as precedence.

Never said that he didn't know him, never said his father didn't know him, just said he had no relationship with him and he didn't play a role in the recruiting process.

An angle people aren't thinking about. Why is this coming out? P.P. can potentially go #1 over all. The draft is nearing. like every year, rumors spew out about players before the draft.
could there be an agent or team funneling negative information about p.p. through this coach, who never told his superiors any such claims, for p.p. to drop in the draft therefore, their client gets drafter higher or the team gets the player they want?
