it never plays out like you think it will in Aug.
never.
the OOC schedule is harder than most years.
most of the teams in the SECW are on the rise as compared to 3-4 years ago.
i plan on enjoying a season that seems to last about 4 weeks without set expectations. just hold on and see what happens.

My realistic expectations for next year are an SEC title which could get us to the big game. I think it sets up very nicely for us because most of the rest of the SEC is in some sort of rebuilding stage, or just bad in general. I think this is our main advantage because we bring back a very good nucleus with a lot of young talent. I think the youth will be the biggest thing holding us back but the talent is definitely not lacking.
However, if we do win the NC, I think one of the best chances recently for a team to repeat. The schedule will be easier overall next year, but the good teams from this year will be much better, but I think we will have more depth, talent, and experience.

okay, call me naive, but I welcome this tough schedule. This is the team to handle it. And FINALLY, when LSU slugs its way through the schedule and climbs its way up the polls, there will have to be consensus about how much they deserve to be where they are instead of that ever-present annoying doubt and questioning that always gets heaped on.

That's exactly the way I feel about it. I would rather a challenge every single week to keep me prepared to play whoever the powerhouses are every year. I'm so pumped about the Oregon game. I really think we come out swinging hard in that game.

So if we play in a slugfest every week, to make it to the BCSNC and play a team that's been resting their starts for the last two months of the regular season... with an injury ratio of key players about 4:0...

you'd be okay with that?

I'm as disappointed at cupcake games as much as anyone, but they serve a necessary purpose. We can't beat ourselves up every week and expect to be at full strength for the biggest (and last) game of the year.

Well I'm definitely not saying schedule Oklahoma, FSU, Oregon, and Stanford as our OOC schedule, but I really like what we have next year. May be a little tougher but I like it

and all the rest right, because if we only win 5 games there will be a Japanese Nuclear Reactor type meltdown here.

Where was the fact that he presented?

it was pretty clear what he was getting at, although worded terribly and full of douche.

what he was alluding to is common knowledge, didnt need to be spelled out for anyone.

if I subbed out "stating" would it change anything in regards to past performance loss history?

expectations?

10 plus wins

Tough but doable schedule... should be in contention for the SEC West and see where the chips fall after that

We go to Bama bud. SEC west title or a 10-2/9-3 regular season looks to be the minimum. Obviously this team could easily finished undefeated or 1 loss National title but I think anything short of a 10-2 finish and the Mad hat haters will be back.

This year is going to be the toughest year in my memory to win the West...not many easy wins in the West anymore...MSU and Ark. have viable programs now...and Aub. and Blama are at the peak of their programs history....it's going to be a SOB to win the West this year...BUT....if we win the West, we will win it ALL!

Ridley would be second for sure, maybe even third string going into this season. Spencer Ware, for all practical purposes showed what a "good" running back looks like. Ridley was "competent" which is fine with a great o line, but a "good" back is how you score points.

-PS before anyone quotes a ridley yardage stat, make sure you include the attempts. Garbage.

Winning the West. If we do that we will win the SEC and then its a Nat. Champ against one of them Big 10-12 schools again.
