LSU is NOT losing fewer than 2 games next season. Just as you know the sun will rise, you also know Les will lose at least 2 games each year. As the saying goes, you can't spell Les Miles without 2 L's.

The schedule is no different than any other year.
I would like to know what key personell are missing.
This team is loaded with talent on both sides of the ball.
espectations are high for a reason.

I have to disagree. Oregon and WVU as OOC games are two tough hurdles. As tough as I can ever remember.

Bullshite. In what other year do we open the season against what could very easily be the #1 team in the country to open the season AND play another (ranked) OOCBCS school two weeks later before opening the SEC slate?

I seem to remember opening at VT ranked in the top ten a couple of years ago, we played WV last year A big east team. Not that big of a hurdle, as usual the sec grinder iss the part to be worried about

You're thinking 2007 for VT. But that was a home game and we didn't face another quality OOC team that year. Neither Florida or Alabama were on par with their current selves, and we lucked out with drawing Tennessee as the SECE Champ.

And as big of a Miles proponent as I am, I would also like to point out that we did end up losing 2 games that year... which could possibly be attributed to all the big names we played early in the year. I don't think that'll happen again in 2011, and at the least, we shouldn't bank on it.

This is douchebaggery.

Where was the fact that he presented?

The only thing different from last year is oregon and now it is the toughest schedule.

The names are the same, but if you don't think that teams fluctuate from year to year, idk what to tell you.

Alabama will have their defense back on par with 2008-2009.
Florida has too much talent not to rebound with an energetic HC and Weis.
Arkansas will probably be a BETTER team than last year with the WRs they are returning and having Davis starting a full season.

It's going to be a harder schedule, I promise you

Really?

Then tell us the last time LSU played not just one but both teams that played in the NCG from the year before and a total of 5 teams who finished ranked in the Top 15 of the season before???

Toughest schedule I can ever recall based on what teams did in 2010. imo

I really don't understand the huge hype for Arkansas. Yeah they have some good WR's and a solid RB. But everyone's jizzing over Tyler Wilson who had one good game against one of the worst defense in the SEC. I just don't really see it.
Ryan Mallett had a lot to do with their success last year.

The dude made Brian Brohm into a star and did the same thing with Ryan Mallet. Neither of them is going to last more than 3 years in the NFL before their dreams of being a starting QB fade.

I promise you that Tyler Wilson is going to thrive, particularly with a phenomenal corps of receivers. But for the record, I was referring more to Knile Davis and the defense stepping up than the QB situation.

I don't know. I'm moreso saying how I disagree with people who say
"Oh man, Tyler Wilson tore it up when we played Auburn, therefore he must be better than Ryan Mallett was so obviously we're going to win the NC because he played soo well in that game."
They might be good next year, who knows. I think we'll be better. But you can't say that based on one game's performance. Not saying you are, just saying it's being said.

Winning the west and the SEC is something a team controls themselves. Whenever we talk about NC's then its, to some degree, out of the team's control.

I would be happy to see them in Atlanta playing for an SEC championship with the hope an SEC title can slingshot them to the Superdome.

Probably the same fools who said that Jefferson would win the Heisman in 2010 and that Mett is going to replicate what Newton did.
