Going for a long weekend. Any suggestions regarding food & drink for the knowledgeable crew of TD Food & Drink Board?

Stinky's Fish Camp is really good. Cafe Thirty-A is really good. Cafe Tango gets great reviews but I've never been.

Louisiana Lagniappe. Most of the places I went in Destin were awful (Back Porch, AJ's etc)

Not to get off subject but the family is looking for a place to stay there this summer. Where does everybody stay past Destin?

If you end up at Bud & Alley's, skip the main restaurant and get pizza and beer next door. They have a great Saturday lunch special.

We LOVED Cafe Tango when we went in the fall.

Had a great Mardi Gras weekend in Destin, despite the weather. Thanks for all of the suggestions. I wish we'd had time to try them all.

Cooked Sat.
Stinky Fish for brunch on Sunday. Had the shrimp and grits and the special was pepper jack cheese grits with a fried green tomato and poached eggs and red beans and crawfish. I really liked this place. Great recommendation.

Hit the Red Bar for some drinks later and finished the afternoon at Bud & Ally's both great.

Cantina Laredo for supper on Monday. Awesome! Had the Ceviche and the Fiesta Grill. Excellent.

Going to hit Fire next time. Thanks again for the info.
