Trent Johnson came to our fraternity meeting tonight

He flat out apologized for the team saying the last year and a half has been one of the worst in recent memory and that it will get better, developing freshmen, etc, BS, etc. Told us how hostile other SEC venues are even when their teams are not winning (UGA) and asked us to some to some games. He told us about when Malcolm White got in to it with some Bama player he was in the middle of the court and when he turned around the rest of the team was still at the bench. When he got back to the bench he called them a bunch of pussies and told them that they could go wait in the locker room if they were scared.
He seems like a nice guy, I hope he can turn this clusterfrick around.
Oh, and he brought about 20 large pizzas.

Trent does seem like an extremely cool guy, one of the main reasons I'm hoping he's the guy that turns things around.

Good effort but somebody in the athletic department should have told him to do this earlier since we only have 2 home games left.

He's brutally honest, and I really appreciate that quality in a coach.

Actually Trent wimped out. When Jamychal Green got a technical and tehn the officials rescinded the call Trent just meekly accepted their decision. What do you think Dale Brown would have done in that situation? Ya think there might have been a coat lying on the big A at center court?

yeah he went to multiple houses tonight with free pizza and asked us to show up and harass the officials and other team. it was pretty cool, id like to see les miles stop by the house...but hopefully our football record will never require that type of action. nonetheless seems like a cool guy.

they are really growing as a team. they're almost like one big family.

That's actually a pretty cool story. I haven't given Trent or the basketball situation too much thought but if this is a true view of Johnson's character, I could find myself pulling for him.

I actually believe TJ will turn things around. Which is why I've not criticized him one bit. I like his attitude and I know it has to absolutely kill him the way things have been going
