Just wondering how far in advance I need to be out there to be comfortable getting in before they run out of the student section allotment.

Only recent one I have experience of is the first game in Alex Box, and the lines for that were simply absurd for students. Got there at like 4 and still didn't get in till after the 3rd inning with SRO they started to let squeeze in.

It should be fairly crowded. I tried to go get SRO tickets to the opening game last year and the line was crazy.

Is Trent Johnson doing anything to try to get students to come out and support his team?

Maybe LSU should offer FREE student tickets to students around campus to get people there.

It should'nt be too bad tom. Last year was first game since the WS win, and the year before was first game in New Box. I think you will be good tom if you get there abt and hour or two before.

The pleasant weather is a factor to consider also. Could bring fans who might otherwise pass on a night game in February.

It'll be packed. Get out there and in like 2.5 hours before 1st pitch. Once you have your ticket then do whatever you want

but he might have unknowingly had a good idea. give student section tickets to the baseball game to students who go to the basketball game on Thursday night. those students then wouldn't have to wait in line for three plus hours on Friday.

I wouldn't rush. Most of our fellow students leave before the 6th inning. You'll prolly have any seat you want down the 1st base line.

Tickets ARE free for every sport except football for students.

Seriously? What do they give like 200 seats to students and the rest are SRO? The box seats a little over 9k I wouldn't call that "any seat you want".

Don't worry about getting there early, just get sro at gametime, student section in the box are the worst seats in the house

The student ticket line wont be as bad as it has been the last 2 seasons, but it will probably still be out to the road from the ticket counter. I'm just hoping its not wrapping around like the past 2 years.

Won't be as bad. Trust me...students don't get up for games like they did ten years ago. Football they do. Not baseball.
