Is he all hype or do you think he will be better than RM and possibly the best pure passer LSU has had?

Neither.

Zach will leave after his second year after leading the Tigers to a NC and winning the Heisman

It's not like he's coming in trying to get playing time from Tommy Hobson or Bert Jones

I sure hope he's a better field general than Ryan Mallett and doesn't go into panic mode in the 4th quarter.

I think he has the intangibles and talent to be all-sec.. Will he succeed in the new offense?! Idk but he has the qualities you want at that position. He's a pretty smart guy. I watched an interview from back when he was a senior and the guy really impressed me for someone his age. I remember thinking he would be cool to hang out with so I'm sure the team will like him which is really important (Booty, JJ as opposed to guys like Mauck and Flynn)

In my non-homer opinion, he will lead us to at least one SEC championship and a possible national championship title during his time in BR.

I'll settle for as good as Jamarcus Russell and for him too keep his hands to himself.

Better. More athletes to distribute the ball to and better line play.
Really? More athletes? I understand that LSU's QB play has left a lot to be desired the last 3 years, BUT LSU's WRs haven't exactly helped out the cause. I would venture to say that Arkansas's WR's while Mallett was QB did not drop as many balls as Shep, Toliver, and Randle did this year.

For reference, Arkansas had: Joe Adams, DJ Williams (TE), Greg Childs as their top receivers

Mallett has Ryan Leaf II written all over him.

Maybe his sexual battery isn't fully charged any longer and he concentrate on football cause the kid's a baller. Once he acclimates to SEC defenses he will be great. This kid has a chance to take LSU to the National Title game. BAMA VS LSU WILL BE THE BEST GAME OF THE YEAR- IF OU DOESN'T SHOW OUT AT FIRST IT COULD BE #1 VS#2 WHEN BAMA PLAYS THE TIGERS

I think he has what it takes. More than Lee did and more than JJ does. I think that he starts by his third game as a tiger. I think we go back to the 2 quarterback system with JJ as the second fiddle
