Anybody know of some places around BR or Laffy that serve this? Would love some right now.

Smoked boudin, grilled boudin, or boudin in BBQ sauce?

Don't know any that "serve" it but if you can find yourself some boudin, light da pit & throw a rope of dat on der cher! Really, it is that easy. We grill it all the time, find it takes out a lot of the grease but gives you a great grilled flavor. We also tried smoking some last weekend. Had the smoker set up to smoke ribs for the superbowl & threw a rope of cooked/cold boudin on the smoker, let it smoke 2hrs, took it off-WOW! It was great, smoky but still juicy, the rice held up real well.

Anytime i light the pit, boudin goes on first as an appetizer

I've been pretty unimpressed with the boudin in Baton Rouge for the past 3 years I've lived here. Grew up in St.Landry Parish though.

St. Landry Parish....what do you think about Billy & Ray's boudin & cracklins? I live in Evangeline parish & I say their cracklins are the best in the area & the Billy's boudin (don't like the Ray's at all) is in the top 5. Gameday tradition to stop at the Billy's in Krotz Springs for a box of boudin balls & some cracklins for the tailgatinging.
