Awesome stuff everyone, but....If this were a competition I would win hands down. Sorry I have waited so long to put some of this stuff up on TD for your enjoyment.

We are going to have some fun with my stuff. I do have the one ultimate one of a kind LSU item that I have ever seen. I will reveal it later on. Now presenting some of my stuff!

Original Chinese Bandit hat

LSU ashtray from 1921

Hat signed by Bush Sr.

Cloth dinner napkin signed by all players from 58' Nat. champ. Lots of former great Tigers have signed this, look closely. (front)

(back)

Personal note from Paul D. to my great unkle on LSU stationary.

Personal note from Paul Bryant to my great unkle. Not sure what he is thanking him for, wish I knew?

Ok, for some fun!

Who kicked the longest punt in LSU history? Nobody knows, until now. Its not in the record books.

98 yard punt! 73 in air!
Kicked by my great unkle, Bill Pitcher in 1924. Date (1922) on ball is wrong. They probably gave it to him many years later, it's a Spaldings trophy ball.

More to come later.

I have a "Reserved for Nick Saban" parking sign from the football complex autographed by the midget himself. Could probably sell it to a gump for a nice price.

I have a set of drink glasses with the 1965 football schedule on one side and what appears to be LSU's bowl history on the other. I say appears because it is worn off in a lot of places and is hard to read.

'65 was not really a great season since we went 8-3 but we did beat Arkansas in the Cotton Bowl.

Really neat stuff, DamFineTeam.

As cool as it is, though, I don't think, that your ashtray is as old as you think. LSU did not come up with that uniform until the 1950s. Also, I'm pretty sure numbers for football uniforms weren't even invented until the 30s. There was no Tiger Stadium in 1921, and Tiger Stadium was not a bowl until 1953.

Maybe your ashtray was a gift or an award given to Bill Pitcher long after his playing days. Is there an inscription or stamp underneath the ashtray?

You are right, it does say 1921 - 1925 on it. It was probably givin to him some time later and commemorates his playing days.

Ok, this is probably my 2nd best item. It's a certificate that makes my great unkle Bill Pitcher a honorary member of the 1958 Nat. Champ. team with everyones signature. Some notable sigs. Paul Ditzel, Charlie McClendon, "Pop" Strange, Carl Maddox, Max Flugler, Bo Strange, Micky Mangham, Warren Rabb, Billy Cannon, Johnny Robinson, Don Purvis, Gus Kinchen.
