Just got a text from my friend, that he works with someone who's friend shot a 656lb hog. Details to come...if true. But it was in the BR area, anyone heard of this yet. He's sending me pics later.

Was it shot at the local walmart wearing a moomoo driving an electric wheelchair?

Gonna have to see this to believe it and I'll bet you anything it's short snout and floppy eared.

If you're are saying that it was domestic, then I completely agree.
No true wild hog is that big.

Yep. That's exactly what I'm saying.

These pics need to surface. I'm having a hard time believeing this one. Although we did kill a hog quite a few years ago (before digital cameras were popular) that was pushing 500. I used to keep the pics in my truck but the La heat destroyed them.

Yeah, so my buddy still hasn't sent the pics and he stopped answering my texts...sorry guys, perhaps we should delete this thread.

No, we wont delete this thread. We will save it, as a warning to all new posters who might be thinking of posting something that they dont know 100% to be factual. That and it's kinda funny. Still awaiting pics. Even if it's not 650#

Well i was posting it to see if anyone had heard about it, didn't mean to get anyone's hopes up.

J/k You'll never get that back.
Nah, I believe because I've seen some big hogs, mostly in the 3 to 4 hundred lbs. range. 650 isn't entirely crazy... IMO.

He sent em...
*656 lbs
*8' long from the end of the rear foot to the tip of the snout
*Each backstrap weighed 30 lbs each
* Head and hide weighed 155 lbs
