Sadly, I'll watch the new ones in hopes of getting rid of the bad taste left by 2&3.
I'm sure they have even planned on morons like me.

Atleast Keanu recognizes that 2 and 3 were trash.
That gets a me excited for 4 and 5.
Not sure why they can't just go for one more and if that is successful make a 5th movie.

I actually liked most of #2. I agree with you about the prolonged scenes that could have been cut. The freeway scene and the architect are the best parts of this movie.
quote:100% agree about Revolutions. Except I found Neo's final battle with Smith to be...well, boring. All that neat-o fight stuff is cool in the first movie but wasn't really that interesting in the third movie. The battle of Zion I thought was pretty awesome.
They frick around the first hour trying to get Neo out of the sort-of Matrix, which leads to nothing. Then they spend another fricking hour with the Battle of Zion, which again leads to nothing, not to mention its all boring as hell. So basically the only important aspects of this film happen in the final 30 minutes.

Seriously, why not have the Freeway scene take place when Neo is talking to the Architect. Neo only comes in at the end, which is perfect timing to save Morpheus and Trinity.

Screen Rant did some digging and finally de bunked this :

And I thought Neo was dead at the end of Revolutions
I thought Jason, Michael Myers, Pinhead and Freddy were all dead too.

Sounds right, whole idea just doesn't make a lot of sense.
I actually do agree with the people that said there were a lot of interesting ideas in Reloaded that just went absolutely nowhere in Revolutions. Reloaded could have been redeemed by a good Revolutions movie but instead it was a steaming pile.
