Reading Shea's updated tidbits, Miles is looking like he is gonna get the LA guys that he wants. That fence appears to be getting stronger

Denzel Devall - Rivals

Listed at 6'2" 210. I wonder what position they are recruiting him for? If he's another LB it just adds to what seems like an abnormally deep LA LB class.

If we sign 6 LBs next season I'm fine with that.

Are we gonna have the same restrictions next year? I was out of town/busy when all of the sanctions hit so I'm out of the loop

I don't think so, we should be back to normal for next years class.

ETA: As of right now there are only 16 scholarship juniors coming back, and the number could be less going into the season. So I wonder if we'll sign a full class next year.

I have no idea about the self imposed sanctions. I think we'll have a smaller class next year just due to spots on the team available.

Another 11 win season or a title, either sec or national will only help lock down La.

Reading the tidbits on Scout, I especially like the ground we seemed to gain with Dural and Landon Collins. Les definitely impressed.

It looked like The only major prospects missing were Edinburgh and Lathan.

Pretty sure it's a 2 year (maybe 3) reduction of scholarships.

Unless something has changed, it was for 1 year(2011). Can't remember if it affected the 85 limit though.

NCAA hasn't accepted sanctions yet. That's only LSU's recommendation. They could accept LSU's proposal, reduce or increase sanctions as they see fit.

Rampage i agree.I really think next year's class will suprise a lot of people. It's unusual for us to have 2 strong years in a row but it certainly looks that way from all i've seen so far.

This offer does suprise me a little unless it's a LB offer. In that case then i get it.I've heard the kid is crazy athletic with good speed. At DE you'd have to think that with Tshiro Davis already offered,Lathan almost guaranteed to be,James Mcfarland another worthy and Bryan Singleton also possible it would make sense for Devall to be a LB offer.Either way it seems Les did a great job with these kids today and has us looking very good with a lot of the top guys in the state next year.

devall is being recruited as a line backer and he is a beast at that position. great athlete, good size, and very smart.

They have accepted the violations as far as being the only ones, meaning that our compliancy group reported them all.Still have yet to say anything about accepting the punishment but it's likely they will.

This and it did reduce the total to 83 for one year also.

I've heard this as well. People up that way say he has a nack for big plays, i.e. sacks,ff,int's.
