That is my new slogan for Tyrann Mathieu. He's going to have a big year next season.

Tyrann doesn't have the natural ability PP7 had, but he more than makes up for it in heart and hustle... I love Peterson, one of my favorite players to ever dawn the purple and yellow... But I'll take Tyrann all day long, kids unreal

Aren't you a little concerned about his height though? I think he's only 5' 9". As a CB against tall receivers he's going to have a tough time once opposing OCs figure it out.

I'm not concerned about his height if they keep him in the same role as last year. If they put him outside against taller receivers then it may become an issue but even so the guy can jump pretty high

I would like to start by saying the way Chavis has used TM has been brilliant. That being said, their roles on the team have are incomparable.

Mo will be the next PP, TM will keep being TM.

We'll be stacked at DBs next season. Brandon Taylor, Karnell Hatcher, Eric Reid, Tyranne Mathieus, Mo Claiborne, Simon, Craig Loston.

totally different roles. Caibourne will be our next stud true CB and T-Rex will keep being a badass closer to the inside of the defense. It's almost apples and oranges comparing T-rex to PP7

Ty mat is a beast but him and PP7 are totally different type of players. I think Ty mat is only going to get better but I dont think he will ever be a shut down corner, they are pretty rare.

Another guy to look out for is David Jenkins though, I went to watch him play against my old high school and the kid is solid and pretty explosive.

Hell who knows if avery johnson is going to play WR for sure, he could follow in his brothers footsteps...hes practically the same body type...6'1 220

The only play he gave up against tamu was a fade route...where his height disadvantage was abused. The coverage was tight, but the ball was up and over. He still nearly made the play!

Yeah his heart and athleticsm is going to allow him to make some plays but lets say Jones was still at bama....Jones is going to win that 1 on 1 battle the majority of the times....If craig loston becomes the player everyone expects him to be though that wont matter.......Big hit of the year 2011 will go to Craig loston
