Domino's Pizza is known to be putrid.

The last time I ate it was many years ago when I was stuck overnight in an airport and was forced to choose between it and starvation. I thought about it for some time, eventually ate the pizza, and wished I had opted for starvation.

What list are you looking at? LSU is the 12th winningest program of all time. Unless you really want to count teams that havent been in major college football for half of their wins (aka Penn, Harvard, Yale and Princeton)

when you have a present like UofM (or, for that matter, the entire big 10), you cling to the past...

I've missed most of the Michigan story, except for the fact that Miles is staying here and really, that's all I was concerned about. But if Brandon said that...I can't think of a better example of someone that is not in touch with reality.

Oh, and he sounds really butt hurt about it too.

Link To Brandon's Comments

He is just trying to save face. His first two candidates turned him down. Now he is saying he and Michigan really had Hoke as their first choice all along.

Everyone knows that is not the case.

They are just like Alabama
Also a lot like LSU was in the dark decades during and after Cholly Mac's departure, esp. in the Dietzel/anti-Dietzel infighting. With respect to Michigan, I think they have some more rough days ahead, but if Hoke can hang on he might be able to help them get some balance.

Well I wouldn't call them garbage, but WTH's up with having to have a "Michigan Man". It's always gotta be a Michigan Man.... What's so different up there that it takes a "Michigan Man" to win football games.

It was that way at Alabama - you had to have ties to Bear Bryant to be considered worthy to coach the Tide. Nick has changed that tune... for now.

funny to hear what SEC/LSU people have to say about history. The fact is that Michigan is a top 5 program of all time while LSU can't even find its self in the top 15

First, you're wrong because LSU is in the top 15 of all time winninest programs.

Second, the Michigan fans that have posted here have been nothing but classy. I feel bad for them because their AD is being controled by the good 'ole boy network. We were similar until Mark Emmeret broke the trend. There's a lot of spin on all sides and none of us will ever truly know what happened.

Best of luck to Michigan!

Alabama fans will go through what our fans have been going through once he leaves. The coach who follows him won't be accepted and fans will lie about their disdain for him being due to a lack of performance but it's all bullshite.

"They live off the past".

I love those quotes in reference to great football programs who have made a few bad hires. Michigan, Alabama, ND., etc. As if they don't care about the present, so they just live off the past.

Michigan has a great football tradition. They will be an elite program once they find the right coach. It's that simple. Who knows if Hoke is the guy.

Texas wandered in the wilderness for 20 years before Mack Brown.

Oklahoma was lost before they got Stoops.

Same for Bama before Stoops.

Same for Florida before Spurrier

Same for ND before Holtz (and possibly before Kelly)

Same for LSU before Saban

Well thanks to those of you who understand.

A lot of our fanbase is very upset with our AD and the way he conducted the search and the way he comes off throughout the process. Its not like we all believed him when he said he never offered Miles, most of us knew he was lying or something.

I agree though, its a shame someone like Lloyd Carr and other past coaches are so bent on controlling the program, that they refuse to support it if its not what they like.

As a die-hard Michigan fan, I'm really hoping our AD was right about ONE thing and that Brady Hoke wll be a good coach, we shall see.
