Yes, to move the goalposts and keep criticizing Miles for having a mediocre team in 2008, the only one of his tenure. This is the same logic that allowed people to go on about 8-8 in the last two years all last offseason.

Well, let's use the same metric if that's such a good one: LSU is 11-5 in the last two years. That's pretty darn good.

ETA: And i'm sorry. We WON the Tennessee game. Mack Brown horribly mismanages the clock and gets a gift of a replay that probably goes against the NCAA rules in 2009, and its forgotten by everyone who doesn't root for Nebraska. Miles mismanages the clock but his team takes advanatge of an even worse blunder by Tennessee, and he's crucified.

Didn't say who was to blame for it. I'm just saying that they were indeed nationally publicized blunders.

There is no coincidence. Because you were using the last two years last offseason. It's just an attempt to keep blaming Miles for 2008. It was a down year, move on.

I'm shocked that you used the length of time to make Miles look the worst, including his worst season, but not including anything prior to it. It's an arbitrary end point and we all know it.
