Man, I dunno about the mixed family scenario. For me and my Aggie wife, we are going out w non Ag or non LSU fans as a group to a neutral-ish bar.
Went to Big Woody's for the NCAA Tourney game a few yrs back, "too many Tiger fans" was the reply (think she was just pissed at the final score, mostly).

How did you and your wife handle the LSU\ole Miss time management debacle of 2009? I would have like to have been a fly on the wall in your house that day!

shite, if you compliment them after every blown assignment by Hatcher, you'll be doing that non-stop all night long.

I would be very honest with your fiancée and her family. Tell them how much you love them and how much you look forward to being part of their family this year. Then be very honest and tell that you hope they don't take offense..."but when the kickoff comes tonight, you'll all be a bunch of assholes!...(smile and say) GO TIGERS!
Ohh they know how into games I get. Her dad loves it, when we go to their lakehouse and watch Tiger games, he has friends come over to see how into it I get.

Engaged to a Bammer alum, we've been together for a while so I think I've got it down. We talk crazy trash while the game is going on and leave no stone unturned. HOWEVER, once the game is over, no more trash talking. You can talk about the game, point out what we did well and/or bad, and do it for the Aggies too. It's essentially the grown up version of little league anything where even if you killed the other team, you still had to line up, slap hands, and say "good game."

Yea, I wasn't being sarcastic or anything. I mean who wouldn't really throw piss bags at their future brother in law.
Here is some truth for you .... you're a fricking moron.

TRY, and I mean TRY, not to drink until kickoff. That usually helps at least delay the shite talking.

I couldn't help myself...I sent picture of her from the Vanderbilt game decked out in LSU garb with my nephew in his LSU jersey to someone at her work. They are printing it out and putting it up in her office, she works with a bunch of Aggie engineers...so this will probably end badly.

I am an LSU alum in Texas with a wife who is an A&M alum (we met at LSU), a son who is at LSU currently, and a high school senior who is likely to go to A&M. The senior is inviting her friends over to watch the game. The rules are: any Aggie fans (includes my wife) must go into the game room to watch the game. I will be stationed (along with any LSU fans) in my living room yelling at the TV as I always do. There will be ZERO tolerance of any derision of LSU. We will loudly play the Songs of LSU during pre-game, and gumbo will be served. If they don't like that, then adios/ au revoir! It's my house and I get to make the rules! Geaux Tigers!
