Why not just stick with Black Powder? They are actually kind of fun.

i have a t/c encore muzzleloader im sticking with it i love it! This is fore my old man who always forgets stuff. He has a muzzleloader but never powder primers or the bag i gave him to put all the shite in . Figure this is the best solution

I don't believe those are legal (as primitive weapons) in LA.

35 Whelen is the best one of the three! Not legal in La yet but prob will be before it's over. 45-70 and 444 are both great especially to be able to use as muzz. MOP is that any of them you get you will be happy with.

i have some friends who are ballistic freaks, one owns a 45-70. both like the 444 better.
i just know both will put a deer down. i am going by what they say. plus, i like i can order different caliber barrels for a reasonable price through h&r.
