Saban has never lived or coached in the state of Pennsylvania.

West Virginia and Pennsylvania west of Philadelphia are indistinguishable culturally, demographically and linguistically.

Ultimately, I think Urban Meyer ends up at Penn St.

Disagree, Urban will be the next coach at Ohio State after Tressel retires in 2013.

He has a "want"! (And he calls us "tards.")

My dream job is (and has been) in NYC. I built my dream home in South Carolina. But whatever.

Only because he spent a few years coaching there. It (like LSU) was just a stepping stone on his career path.

He was there ten years as an assistant and head coach. It is currently the one place he's lived the longest in his coaching career. At the press conference for the capital one bowl he referred to Michigan State as one of his "homes". Never mentioned Baton Rouge or LSU in that way.

I think you are over generalizing there. Got any census data to back up your claims. I know many of you in NYC think everything west of the Hudson River is the same, but it's not true.

Speaking of generalizations. I was born in SC, grew up there and in Louisiana, and have lived in Oklahoma, Florida, Michigan, Washington,DC, NYC and....Pittsburgh.

In any event, it was a joke, so lighten up.

If I'm not mistaken Saban is making close to $6mm with endorsements and everything and have full control just like he wants.

Why would he leave for $5mm?

He could be lured away for $5 million a year,

Don't buy this.

FYI he makes $$6,087,349 a year now.

I think he concentrates more on winning than the money at this point! Where he is in his life, it is NOT about the money!

He has all the money he needs, he wants championships!!!

Except Nick never did the ol' in and out on a restaurant table with a crazy chic.

That we know of anyway...

That would be a one million dollar pay cut from his 2010 rate.
