It's not nearly as easy to hire a good coach as you people think it is. Look at Florida, every advantage in the world and they had to settle for a coordinator. Patterson, Pellini, ect are just not very likely to leave their current gigs. We're going to be looking at a Troy Calhoon or a Gus Malzhan type hire if Miles leaves. Be careful what you wish for fricktards.

As long as we don't give him a huge contract, it won't be an issue. Just fire him when you have a chance at someone better

I think I would have settled for Muschamp. He deserved a shot.

Please don't tell us what LSU can't do.

There's a lot of coaches, who unlike you understand what good job LSU is in terms of recruiting etc.

Mullen
Petrino
Malzahn

with LSU's talent

I think we'll be okay, fricktard

Keep Wilson and Chavis and LSU doesn't miss a beat.

Of course this is too logical and LSU would never do it.

Petrino just signed a contract with a huge buyout

Mullen would be nice but he already turned down the U, no slam dunk that he comes here.

Malzahn has never been an HC at this level, that's a huge risk.

Nothing quite like settling for your first choice.

Miles is the head recruiter not the head coach, so we would be out of a head recruiter and would have to go and hire a new head coach.
