On the road, vs a decent team?

It's always tough to win on the road?

I think they will be ok, but are the saints fans taking Seattle too lightly?

I really don't think that the Seahawks have a decent chance to win this game. But when Vegas has a game at -11, look out.

I don't think we cover, but the Seahawks aren't very good.

We can take them as lightly as we want, so long as the players don't.

If Hasselbeck were playing I'd give the Hawks a chance. I was listening to the guy from footballoutsiders on a podcast yesterday. Supposedly Hasselbeck is one of the best QBs in the NFL at gashing teams when they "big blitz". Guess which team brings the most of these style blitzes in the NFL?

I'd say old Saints, yes. Today's Saints, no way. Coach Payton will have them ready.

I don't think the Saints are PRIMED for an upset, but I can see a loss happening. The Saints are really beat up and have two things going against them this year:

Turnovers and Penalties.

Saints are minus 8 on turnovers. You can't win a Super Bowl like that. Conversely, the Saints were plus 8 in turnovers during the PLAYOFFS last year. That was just 3 games. Plus 8 in 3 games.

Saints keep shooting themselves in the foot and they do it against bad teams (Arizona, Cleveland) and against good teams (Baltimore, Atlanta, TB). If the Saints play as their own worst enemy, yes, they definitely can lose.

It has been very frustrating this year.

Turnovers, penalties, and special teams can definitely cause us to lose. But its just that Seattle is so freaking bad, i dont see it happening.

If we lose to Seattle, we have no right being in The playoffs in the first place, much less winning a super bowl

I said the same thing before the Arizona and Cleveland games.
I was getting the warm and fuzzies watching that Seattle and St. Louis game. They looked pumped up and that stadium was loud. If the Saints take this is even a little bit lightly I think they are in for a rude awakening.
I'll also say they were playing the Rams for their playoff lives...but it's the NFL. Anything can happen.

Wait. What happened to us playing Seattle? Damn the NFL for changing the playoff schedule without letting me know.

Last Sunday, Seattle played a below average team that's on their level to close game, that Seattle ended up pulling out.

This year, Seattle was 4-4 at home. They played 3 teams that ended up with 10 or more wins at home. In those games, they lost to each team by no less then 16 points. Seattle does not matchup well with the better teams in the NFL.

The only chance Seattle has is if the Saints turn the ball over 3+ times & gives up big plays on defense. I trust that Sean Payton will have the team ready to play & emphasize that its a must to limit mistakes. Also we have the biggest advantage of all & that's Drew Brees being our QB. I expect the obvious leader of this team to step up & lead the team to victory in Seattle.

Cosmo, you ready for some Pig Sooie?

I'm tired of everyone making a big deal about the "twelfth man." That has to pretty much be a joke.

I'm a little worried, but it's mostly because I witnessed the debacle of the Browns game and the numerous injuries.
