Nah he is the DL coach at Bama...there's no separate DT/DE coaches here.

He was the only coach given a Gatorade bath after the bowl game, so that's probably good news for ya'll.

Bo has been with Nick for a long time, much longer than most assistants last. LSU, Miami and now Bama. He may be at a point where he is looking to widen his resume and wallet.

So what position(s) gets doubled up then? I'm assuming you don't have a dedicated ST coach?

Oscar Giles is/was(?) the DE coach the DT coach was Mike Tolleson. We doubled up at a lot of other positions. such as no set special teams coach, OC/QB coach and DC/LB coach, etc.

Is it logical for Mack to hire position coaches, when he still hasn't hired his offensive and defensive coordinators?

Seems like the coordinators would want a say in the position coaches they work with.

Not to date myself or anything, but if Bo Davis lived at Varn Villa on Brightside back in 1996, I lived next door to him. Big ole dude.
