Mad Hatter references

NC State was unsuccessful in their best Mad Hater bounce pass fake fg attempt. The telecast has referenced the Mad Hatter on 3 different occasions for it. LSU is my 2nd favorite SEC team but your coach is a recurring joke among the college football ranks.

Hey Miss Piggy, I'm watching the telecast also. How is saying that NC State was unsucessful in faking a fg that LSU executed to perfection make Miles a "recurring joke"? What I took from the references is that the little guys shouldn't be trying such ballsy plays. And two more things, GFY and GTFO. That is all.

oh, silly boy,
i was just about to post the same quote, but i'm diehard les miles fan. i am very proud of the announcers epsn champs bowl saying that n.c. state tried "a mad hatter's fake field gold."
r kansas silly boy, r kansas is my second favorite sec school, but our coach is second to none.
most of us love our mad hatter.
the others are just abused children.

I really don't even feel like putting forth the effort.

I'm watching the game also and they never joked about Miles. They just compared the attempt to the successful attempts of Miles teams.

This from someone whose coach was such a big pu$$y that he couldn't even finish a season because he was hiding under the bed and crying?

I hate Les Miles. But, even I recognize that people mentioning his trick plays are giving him credit for having those plays work. Now, when they make fun of him for eating grass, they're just making fun of him.
But, someone talking about how every trick play that Les Miles has ever called has worked is not an insult and does not make him a joke.
His end of the game performances are plenty enough for him to be considered a joke of a coach. No need to make up crap.

then you are naive. not only have there been 3 references by espn announcers but he is commonly referred to that on sports shows across the country.....and they are laughing at him not with him. I love Less Miles, I hope yall lock him into a Petrino like contract and he never leaves.

Tell me how comparing a missed fake fg by NC State to LSU's successful one against Florida is making fun of Les Miles. Are you referring to the term "Mad Hatter"?

slackhouse is one of the abused children.

Or this from someone that knows they have one of the top coaches in the country, who is not going anywhere soon, and is building a solid program and will be relevant for a very long time.
Less + Crowton = Dominance

do people really believe miles designed that play to have the ball bounce?

No. It's more in reference to how unbelievable lucky that bs play was and how the Florida game along with the Tennessee game should have been losses and an 8-4 season for the powerful LSU Tigahs.

"IF they were wearing purple and gold, I bet you this would have worked" - ESPN just now while showing NC screwing up their fake field goal.
Wow, they are really making fun of Miles.

they just showed it again at half-time and said
"if they were wearing purple and gold it would have worked"
sounds like a compliment to me

Yes...Because saying "if they were LSU it would have worked...but they are the Wolf Pack!" is a huge dig at Miles and the program.
