Afreaux, I did brunch with a friend yesterday .. We did an app .. I had the shepard's pie -- which was excellent -- she had the full monty, which she enjoyed .. we had drinks too and we were over $100 with tip .. just bit steep IMO .. the place has a great atmosphere .. good food and cold beer .. but it is expensive ..

We ate there last Friday night and I did not think it was expensive and I thought the portions were fine (but I am woman and don’t eat as much as the men folk do). I had the fish and chips and hubby had the rueben. We both thought fish was good but the rueben was a tad dry. Our son just had the chips and salsa since he just wanted to nibble. The salsa was sweet with a slight after bite. We split a beer pitcher of beer. I rather see the beer prices drop a little. Our bill was less than $50. Afterwards we went upstairs to the cupcake place, the lady behind the counter said it was owned by the same owners as the Londoner. We got 2 carrot cakes to go and they tasted completely different. One tasted like chemicals, the other was delicious.
