Larry Holder mentioned this on twitter

I'm not familiar with him, so I have no clue how legitimate this may be. Bart intrigues me as an owner for some reason, what says the board?

I don't know about his net worth, but he has had his feet on the hardwood for every game I've ever been to.

says he's getting a group together, so net worth is probably a little low. He's a huge fan and would keep them here. Just wondering if this has any legitimacy and if anyone thinks he would make a good owner.

True, but I don't think he's got the money to run an NBA team.

I could see him as a minority owner of the team. I don't think he has the cash to own over 50% but we shall see.

That's why he's apparently getting a group together.

I know Morris Bart. He doesn't have even remotely that much money. I mean he's rich as frick, but not that rich.

His group would need some serious heavy hitters.

What about Al Copelands son, I know his restaurants were pretty big sponsors last year. I think his dad left him a good bit of money. He could be a possible partner with Morris along with others ofcourse. He always used to sit court side FWIW....

The real NO heavy hitters want nothing to do with a lockout. IMO this is the real problem for local ownership. The gunslingers in NO are Reily, White, Goldring, Zemuray, Taylor and Benson. None of them are willing to invest in a potential lockout.

We need to petition Morris to put Mr. Bitter on air for Bob Licht.

fans are safe with anyone just owning the team?

Morris Bart?

come on.

big ownership groups can get messy. What does Bart know about owning anything of this magnitude, if he is indeed majority owner?
