The smoked boudin at The Best Stop is a pretty good link, IMO.

I tried the drive thru boudin place in henderson and thought it sucked. I really like heleaux's grocery in Lafayette for boudin. After that I say the best stop.

i might send her over. i am sure she has been there before. it's just hard for me to comprehend it can be as good as bourques.

make sure she goes to the one on hwy 182. the other nasty one in the hood will be closer to port barre. they bought the original dons and really fricked it up. don opened back up about 10 years later on hwy 182.

where is it from the interstate?

Exit 97, I believe. Go North and it's on the left.

If you're going to the Mowata store, here's two more places in Eunice, you might as well try:

Superette Slaughterhouse - 1044 Hwy 91, Eunice

T-Boy's - 1500 West Laurel Avenue, Eunice

T-boys

Probably my all time favorite

Probably the best seasoning mix out there too.

If you're in the downtown Lafayette area, Johnson's is originally out of Eunice but they're located in Lafayette now.

I'd stick to East of Jennings and West of the Basin, anything outside of there probably isn't up to par.

Does Hebert's make boudin?

I'm not a fan of earl's boudin but they make a good bbq plate lunch on Sunday.
