Even though he could still get a BCS bid if UConn loses to USF? Weird.

Personally, I hope he stays at UM. I'm enjoying this streak we're on.

According to sources, West Virginia natives Rick Trickett - a former top assistant at WVU now serving as Florida State's assistant head coach - Terry Bowden and Tommy Bowden are among the top preliminary choices to replace Stewart.

Isn't that where Saban is from? I mean, I don't think he's leaving Bama, just asking

Saban was raised in West Virginia. I think WVU tried to get Saban when they hired RR. Saban turned them down. No way he would leave Alabama for WVU now.

Alabama also tried to get RR before they got Saban. RR turned them down and then took the job in Ann Arbor a year later.
