Has anyone ever questioned the lack of ATM's at Tiger Stadium or the fact that the concession stands are cash only? There is supposed to be one concession stand (near Gate 4) that allegedly takes cards, but the machine is always "down."

Before Capital One was the "official bank" of LSU, it was Chase.
Anyone remember this article... LINK

Seems like a really easy way to generate additional concession revenue. Just wondering if anyone else has ever written to the AD and received an explanation on this issue.

Well, most of the concessions are run by organizations that don't have access to a card scanner.

eta: We have ONE in the east upper.

Okay, does anyone know where I can use a debit card in the lower bowl?

I've used my CC before in the NEZ.

I agree with you though about having ATMs in TS. Surprised money whore LSU has not capitalized on this yet.

Is it that big of a deal to carry cash?

I'd prefer the concessions to NOT accept cards.

The last thing I want to do is wait on some yahoo buying his 1 hotdog with a CC.

Just be glad it's not war memorial stadium. I'm not even sure they have indoor plumbing. Not that that's uncommon in Arkansas....

Uhh I have sat in the NEZ and the SEZ and the West Side Line this year and they have accepted CC/Debit at every concession stand I went to.

Last year in the lower bowl I was told they didn't take debit cards then I sat in the upper for the bama game and there was 1 of the concession stands that took debit cards. I was pretty happy. I don't always have cash on me because sometimes I don't plan on going to the game and then use my cash I have on me to buy a ticket.

The one in the upper SW endzone has one register that takes CC.

Seems to be a good compromise.

i would think it could be faster to just swipe a card than to rely on someone counting change in their pockets and then worker behind the counter being competent as well.

i'm sure the CC machines probably shrink their profits. i always think to have cash anytime i'm going to some sort of sporting event.
