cue: we should be thrilled CBS honors us by televising our games, day or night, posts

Fade into obscurity. About the only way. As long as LSU is good, CBS will pick up the best games.

the having to listen to Verne

Why can't they pick up a 5pm game?

At least now, after daylight savings time, we can finish the games at night

The majority of CBS' broadcasts are at 3:30 Eastern. There's nothing LSU can do about it.

There will always be an afternoon SEC game no matter what network.

Playing on CBS means that game is big nationally, and everyone in America gets to see our program and our facilities and our grass-eating coach.
When you get that 11:00 kick each week like certain programs, then things are not good.

Like it or not, day games are a sign that we're a winning program. I love our night games, too, but recognize why we're playing in the afternoon and be happy with it.

Two choices come to mind.
1. Go to the game
or
2. Turn off the TV volume and listen to Jim Hawthorne call the game, which may cause you to turn back on the TV volume.

I will say this, the campus, stadium and field looked great on TV from the air last week...the day time start helped with those pictures...

We can:
A) suck a little bit and start getting the 11:00 AM games. You know, the Kentucky and Georgia slot.
B) suck a whole lot more and keep our games at night, where no one will televise us. You know, the Vanderbilt slot.

grow up and be happy LSU and SEC collect a very large paycheck...
nationally televised games are the price of success...
I am sick and tired of Verne and Gary as much as the next LSU fan... suffer through them, turn them on mute and tune in to the radio team
fans bitching about the lack of night games are idiots - day games are simply a price of success

Well as it was said in Animal House. Start drinking heavily... and early. LOL

I honestly think some of our fans would rather that, so they can save their precious tailgating

You are very correct.
Just like some would like to see Miles fail so they can say they were right.
We have the worst fans in the world.
